This Macon is completely unoaked, with good freshness and elegance.

The new vintage of this magnificently popular White Burgundy has now arrived and I think is even better than the last one. Unfortunately it also has gone up in price mainly due to the shortages of stock in Burgundy over the last two years.

From the same vineyard as Macon Uchizy, this is a notch above that delightful wine. 
It has more weight and complexity and is outstanding value.

Lovely fresh citrus style nose with good generous undertones. Easy fresh first taste that lengthens out into a really quality styled wine. This is delicious and at half the price of some of its Burgundian neighbours.

We were going to stop having this wine because it had become so expensive – but Latour realised they had priced themselves out of the market and this has now come down to a sensible level.. Still quite expensive, but always reliable, consistent in style and a pleasure to drink.

Although unmistakably from Chablis, with almost a touch of Macon influence to be found.

Elegant, yet firm tasting Burgundy with a long satisfying finish.

This is fabulous White Burgundy, rich and still quite powerful it slides down a treat and has delightful residual flavours. It is perfection with any form of fish. A real 5 star treat (Limited Stock)
