MARKTREE

Both of these wines offer typical Australian characteristics. The white is fresh and elegant offering more of Semillion than the other varietals whilst the Red is soft, juicy with plenty of red fruit aromas.

OCEAN POINT

Ocean Point Chardonnay 2005 (6) £4.45 £26.70
Lemony fresh and zesty Chardonnay which is great value.

Ocean Point Shiraz 2005 (6) £4.45 £26.70
Dark in colour with a good bit of grip but not too peppery
as some of the cheaper Aussie Shirazs can be, good value.

CRESTVIEW WINERY

Katherine Hills Sauvignon/Colombard 2002 £5.39 £64.68
Clean, fresh and fruity with lemony overtones excellent
on its own or with food.

Katherine Hills Colombard/Chardonnay 2002 £5.39 £64.68
For those who like a less dry more tropical tasting
wine this will suit. It has pineapple overtones and a lingering finish.

Katherine Hills Shiraz/Cabernet 2002 £5.68 £68.16
A really good value Shiraz/ It has good fruit with soft tannins
and complements red meat and rich sauces perfectly.

RED ROCK
Both of these Australian wines are unpretentious and deliver a perfectly acceptable glass of wine at entry level. The white we think is particularly good value.

Australian White N V (12) £4.20 £50.40
Australian Red N V (12) £4.20 £50.40

Red Rock Colombard/Chardonnay 2006 (12) £4.59 £55.08
This is a more serious wine than the one above with body
and style that means it can be drunk on its own,
but is better with food.

Red Rock Cabernet Merlot 2005 (12) £4.59 £55.08
Well balanced Australian red that although is full bodied
and full of fruit is not too jammy - a great picnic or outside wine.

SPARKLING WINE

Echo Point (12) £7.35 £88.20
A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir makes
this sparkler into a subtle salmon pink colour with fresh,
lively fruit characters.
